Performance Intensives

Junoon is proud to announce the next season of Performance Intensive. Students will be given the opportunity to learn technique and choreography of various dance styles. The program will begin on April 18, 2017  leading to a showcase on June 18, 2017.

Bollywood

Instructor - Chandan Hingorani
The Bollywood class will focus on learning fun Bollywood moves on foot tapping beats. Dancers will learn traditional Indian dance with fusion of some jazz, hip-hop and modern dance.

Indo-Contemporary  (Open Level)

Instructor - Sankalp Sharma
This open level Indo-contemporary class is suitable for all students interested in working on and expanding their contemporary vocabulary.  This class will focus on basic technique, strength, flexibility and core work. Dancers will get a glimpse of modern dance techniques such as Graham, Horton and Simonson and will utilize dance improvisation to learn how bodies respond to different emotions. 
Dancers will continue to be challenged and learn how to take their dancing skills to the next level.

Indo-Contemporary  (Open Level)

Instructor - Kruti Shah
This open level Indo-contemporary class is suitable for all students interested in working on and expanding their contemporary vocabulary.  This class will focus on basic technique, strength, flexibility and core work. Dancers will continue to be challenged and learn how to take their dancing skills to the next level.

Bollywood-Item Numbers

Instructor - Ruby Verma
Bring out your inner Bollywood diva - this class will focus on learning sassy, energetic choreography with a focus on item numbers. Dancers will learn a unique fusion of Jazz and Bollywood dance styles fused with feminine movement and expression.
